Tasting NotesThe 2013 vintage of Claret is the first time we have produced a Cabernet Franc-dominant Claret. The Franc in 2013 was rich and full, with a presence of pink peppercorn, crushed violet, and ripe berries- it rounds out with red fruit tones of raspberry, cherry, and liquorice from the Merlot, black fruit and spice of the Cabernet, with the bold richness on the finish of 6% Petit Verdot.
Beautifully balanced with fine grained velvet tannins, this wine is drinking beautifully now and will age 15-20 years.
