| Winemaker's Notes: |
2007 produced a low crop of chardonnay with small berries and rich flavors. I balanced this richness by avoiding malolactic fermentation. This retains a nice balancing acidity and bright fruit and floral aromas. The nose shows aromas of lemon, white peach, caramel and a hint of toastiness. In the mouth it is expansive and delicious with a long flavorful finish. Drinks well now and promises to age well for the next 15 years. |
